As the nature of the work is confidential, I, unfortunately, can't share any project visuals for the time being. However, I will share what I can about the exciting work that we have done.

<challenge>
Discover the characteristics of the client's users, segment what personas exist among loyal users, unveil their likes & dislikes, and find out why users have discontinued app usage.
<approach>
Personas can be built on a number of different foundations like demographics, key behaviors, etc. However, we went with a 'product experience persona' approach.
Product experience personas enable a deep understanding of the specific needs that different users have in their day-to-day lives with a product.
They are rooted in a specific role that the product plays in the life of the user and how those roles can be different for each persona to inform strategic targeting and messaging.
<key insights>
Blood Glucose Monitors (BGMs) and Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) are taking more of the jobs that users relied on a variety of diabetic apps to complete
There is a trend of increasing CGM use, now that it is less intrusive to modern users. It is also apparent that price differences have decreased and insurance support has become more common now that there is a proven positive therapy outcome for users
Some users preferred their general wellness apps, which cover multiple health factors (e.g., diet, exercise, blood pressure, sleep, and other health factors) and are better integrated with 3rd party fitness apps/trackers
<outcomes>
The client was extremely pleased with our work and used it as a foundation for immersive video development. The client felt that posters and decks alone did not inspire & immerse co-creation participants in the persona's needs, wants, struggles, and general vibe.
